Gite très agréable, bien équipé et chaleureux. Difficile de quitter la piscine, son came et sa vue. Ideal avec des enfants aussi avec beaucoup de jeux à disposition. La region est Jolie avec plein d'activites de plein air. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, merci.

We really enjoyed our stay with Joanne and Jon. Clean and well equipped gite. Everything you need to cook at home or go for a picnic. Good place to just hang out at the pool with the kids or explore the beautiful surroundings. Lots to see and eat. We have built some really good memories. Thanks Joanne and Jon!

We have had two excellent weeks at La Caze. The gite had all we needed and made a good base for exploring this beautiful area. We loved the plateau and the Tarn. We did 3 randonnees from the app "Rando Grand Causes" recommended by Joanne. Some nice lunches out, especially Sunday lunch at the Relay du Chateau in Brousse le Chateau where we also visited the castle. Many many thanks to Jo and Jon for their hospitality.

Propriétaire très accueillant dans une maison de bon volume, même au mois d'octobre la piscine est encore accessible avec une température de 28-29 degrés avec Jolie vue sur le paysage magnifique de l'Aveyron.

Un accueil chaleureux avec petits présents et même un superbe dessert le veille de notre départ. Nous aimons la piscine chauffée ou grâce au temps que nous avons eu nous a permis de nous baigner tous les jours. A recommender!

Un petit bijou à la campagne, une vue extraordinaire et un spectacle de la nature magnifique.

Rien de mieux que ce magnifique gite pour se reposer. Le lieu est formidable et la piscine avec vue est géniale. Merci à Joanne et Jon pour leur accueil et leur bonne humeur.

This is the first time we've stayed at La Cardabelle and it was everything we had hoped for! Comfortable accommodation. great facilities and fabulous hosts The kids basically lived in the swimming pool which was so nice during the hot weather. There is plenty of fun to be had at the lakes a few minutes up the road and kayaking and swimming in the Tarn River as well. The local scenery is spectacular and the views from the swimming pool itself are awesome! Joanne and Jon are fabulous hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them - they made us feel very welcome. Thanks for a lovely holiday - we will be back!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in La Cardabelle!

It was wonderfully peaceful, the gite was spotless and very comfortable, the view breathtaking, and the swimming pool a joy.

Thank you also for all the advice on the area, where to get bread, lunch, dine etc.

What an amazing holiday! Thank you so much Jo and Jon for being so friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 weeks at La Violette with our 12 and 10 year old daughters and it was perfect. The girls and I loved the pool, which has THE most amazing view, and my husband enjoyed the hills for his ultra marathon training! We also managed several family bike rides. We took our bikes down with us, but there are adult bikes to borrow at the gite. The gite was clean and had everything we needed. There is also plenty to do in the area (if you can tear yourself away from the pool) - Roquefort, Millau Viaduct, canoeing down the Tarn, Velorail to name a few. Can't fault La Violette and La Caze Gites in any way. We will certainly return.

4th visit, still brilliant, the meals were amazing and Jon and Joanne even more so - can't wait to come back!

Wij willen jullie enorm bedanken voor de mooie vakantie. La Violette is een gezellige gite waar alles aanwezig is an een top vakantie te hebben.

Op jullie advies bezochten we Albi (Tour de France), Brousse le Chateau, St Rome de Tarn, Asseynes, St Affrique (market), Millau, Castelnau. Ook het meer van Villefranche de Panat was leuk.

Met het mooie weer hebben we ook volop genoten van het mooie zwembad

Eine wirklich aussergewöhnliche schöne Ferienwohnung mit aussergewöhnlich freundlichen Vermietern. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt und weit überdurchschnittlich, dazu alles von bester Qualität. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr stilsicher und mit viel Liebe und Knowhow gestaltet. Auch im Aussenbereich stimmt alles, vom Pool und den Liegen bis zu den zahlreichen Spiel- und Sportmöglichkeiten. Das alles in prächtiger NAtur mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick ! In der Nähe sind kleine französischen Juwelen zu entdecken (z.B. Brousse-le-Chateau oder das Valée du Tarn); für die z.t. spektakulären Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Gorges du Tarn, Albi oder Touluse sollte man einen Halbtages- oder besser noch Tagesausflug einplanen. Joanne und Jon stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite - wirklich klasse Typen, und Jon kann auch noch gut kochen. Wer la France profonde liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Gesamtbewertung: hervorragend !!

We've spent 2 happy weeks here with wonderful weather. We visited interesting and pretty villages in the area - Brousse le Chateau is particularly charming. Shopping at the supermarkets in St Affrique is good as is the Saturday market. Joanne and Jon have been such good hosts, helping with routes and cooking us a couple of delicious meals- to mention just a few of the many ways they've made this a holiday we will cherish for years to come. We didn't know this part of France before now. We love it!!

Beautiful view, wonderful scenery and a lovely comfortable gite. Everything we could have wanted was supplied including the welcome pack. Our meal on our last night was delicious. Thank you Jon and Joanne very much for a very happy experience.

All the comments are so true , a lovely part of France and so peaceful. The gites are very good and the views from the beautiful swimming pool are fantastic. Joanne and John are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. What ever your interests from bird watching, photography or just exploring the wonderful French villages you won't be disappointed

What a fantastic location. We had a very enjoyable week and managed to see some great places. The gite has everything - we enjoyed some great meals at home! Jon and Joanne are brilliant hosts. We shall return and recommend to friends. Relaxing and enjoyable break - this area of France is a hidden gem!

Our 4th visit but the first stay in La Violette. The gite has a friendly feel and we immediately felt at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and could happily have stayed for longer. Despite being here before we were amazed at how much more there is to see and do. Planning to return once more.

Joanne and Jon: thanks for your hospitality, we had a perfect stay in your gite! We used it as a 'base camp' for visiting Millau (including viaduct), Rodez, Lodeve, La Couvertoirade. Why has this beautiful departement been neglected by tourists? The gite had all the comfort we needed and Jon is an excellent cook!

A great week away with friends. The lakes offered a wonderful opportunity to stretch our legs and take in the scenery! Jon and Joanne were the perfect hosts, ensuring the gite had all the necessary essentials, producing fabulous dinners and making us feel so at home that we didn't want to leave....

We have had the most fabulous week at La Violette. Jon and Joanne have been wonderful hosts, full of great suggestions on places to go and experiences to try - the highlights including the 14km canoe/kayak trip on the Tarn. The gite was thoughtfully equipped with lots of attention to detail, e.g. a decent steam iron, lots of ice packs and plenty of towels, plus lots of pool toys, ping pong and boules for the children, and Paul enjoyed cycling to the shops for our daily bread. One week wasn't enough!

Nous avons passee une semaine tres reposant dans ce gite tres accueillant "La Violette". Baignades tous les jours, entre la rivière du Tarn, le lac de Pareloup et la superbe piscine. Le plateau du Larzac et les Gorges du Tarn sont a un peu plus d'une heure de route mais cela vaut le corp. En resume de tres bonnes vacances, nous revendrions. See you!

La Cardabelle is like a home from home with everything you need and more. Jon and Joanne are wonderful hosts (and amazing cooks - we thoroughly enjoyed the meal they prepared for us) so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. What a lovely spot to spend a couple of weeks. The weather was wonderful, the scenery is great, and we had a couple of first class meals from Joanne and Jon as well. We will be back!

The welcome we received was truly warm and friendly with a lovely meal. La Violette was bright, clean and cheerful and well equipped, and the fresh linen and towels are a great touch. The kids had plenty of fun in the pool and the view is fabulous.

A wonderful two weeks at La Caze. The gite was just right, the grounds were lovely and the view was AMAZING! Had some great days out, but it was just as nice to potter by the pool, eat Joanne and Jon's delicious food and check out those stars at night!
